So yesterday’s reading was awesome! We read about the ten plagues. Here is my thoughts on them. (Ex. 7-24)
Chapter 7:3. God wanted to harden Pharaohs heart so that He would multiply His sings and wonders. I also think that he did it so that all the Israelites and Egyptians, well everyone in the whole world from then to now, would know that there is only one God
Chapter 8:19. When the magicains tried to bring forth the gnats from the earth, they couldn’t and I found it really amazing that they (the magicians) said, “This is the finger of God.” I find that really cool that even the magicains knew that it was God who was doing all these signs and wonders.
Chapter 9:20. I found even cooler when some of the servants of Pharoah feared the word of YHWH and listened to what God said about bringing in the livestock from the hail.
Chapter 10:14. I’m kinda glad when God sent the locust in all the land of Egypt, that He would never send that many again. Ever! I dislike locust.
Chapter 13:19. It was cool and nasty that Moses brought Joseph’s bones with them when they were leaving Egypt. It was cool that they remembered that Joseph wanted to be brought out of the Egypt in Gensis 50:25.
Throughout the rest of the Bible reading, I find it annoying that the Israelites keep complaining that Moses brought them out of the wildreness to die, and it would be better if they were slaves in Egypt. But sometimes I’m like that in life. When I’m going through hardship in life I ask why God is doing this to me, but I know God does His work for His glory and not mine. I just need to learn to be patient in thoughs hardships, and pray for His strengh to be with me.
Ok, here’s a challenge from me to you. Count from Ex 19-31 how may “You shall” there are and ask God why He said it that many times.

We are Bible believing, scripture only people. We love to learn about the Hebrew roots of our faith. We believe it is important to not add or subtract from the Divine Word of God. The compiled scriptures that agree with one another and have no contradiction is the 66 books of what is commonly referred to as the Christian Bible, or the Holy Bible.
These writings were originally written by men inspired by God. They were written in the language of the writers and readers of the original documents. Many of the original documents have been lost, but God’s Word is eternal and remains. Therefore, it is important to us to study, learn, and consider the culture, history, and language of the original writers of the scriptures.
In our studies we have learned that the true name of God is Yehovah, and His son, our Messiah, is named Yeshua. Therefore, as you read our posts we will use the Hebrew names of God and our Messiah.
