Day 9 Reveal Sin and Bring Repentance (30 Day Prayer Challenge for the Children)
Biblical Living . Parenting . Prayer Challenge . Prayer Challenge for the ChildrenAs I said in the introduction, this challenge is an opportunity to spend the next thirty days being intentional about praying for a child or children.
I hope you had time to decide and write down the name or names of the child/children you will be praying for the next 30 days. If not take the time and do that now. Also, I would encourage you to use a prayer book/journal and write out your prayer each day. This just really allows to really think and ponder on the words, and gives you something to look back at as God answers these prayers. Reuse the prayers and add new notes as you continue to pray for the children in your life.
No matter how you choose to use this prayer guide, the most important thing is to be intentional. Don’t just make it a habit or chore that you check off your to do list each day. Make time and take time to really pray for the child/children, and ask God to show you ways to bless them.
Each day I will post the topic and scripture, and write out my prayer for you to use as a guide, as you go to the Father in prayer. No matter whom God lays on your heart to pray for that is exactly who you should be praying for.
May Yehovah God bless us as we seek to bless Him and His children.
Amen
Day 9
Pray that God would reveal their sin and they would confess and repent of it.
1 John 1:9; Romans 8:1-2; Psalms 51:10
Father,
I know that being raised in a home that went to church every week, and taught the Bible, it can sometimes just seem like, of course, I love God and am a believer. But your Word clearly says that all have sinned and fall short of Your Glory. There is no one without sin, except for Your Son, Our Living Hope, Yeshua.
Father, I ask that You help my children see their own sin and wickedness, show them the evil that is in their heart, and let that sin be a reminder that they are not perfect and need a Savior. Give them a longing to be right with You, and to want to know You as their Lord and Savior.
When they sin make them want to repent and get right before You immediately. When they come to me with their sin and mistakes help me be compassion, merciful, yet justice, as You are, so that, they will know You are a loving and gracious God patient and merciful. But, that there are indeed consequences for our actions and words. Help me be a true example to my children of your forgiveness and justice.
Once my children see their sin help them to turn from it and flee from it. Bring them to Repentance!
Through Yeshua Alone,
Amen
I hope this blog series is a blessing to you and the children in your life. If you would like to join our prayer group on Facebook here is the link.

We are Bible believing, scripture only people. We love to learn about the Hebrew roots of our faith. We believe it is important to not add or subtract from the Divine Word of God. The compiled scriptures that agree with one another and have no contradiction is the 66 books of what is commonly referred to as the Christian Bible, or the Holy Bible.
These writings were originally written by men inspired by God. They were written in the language of the writers and readers of the original documents. Many of the original documents have been lost, but God’s Word is eternal and remains. Therefore, it is important to us to study, learn, and consider the culture, history, and language of the original writers of the scriptures.
In our studies we have learned that the true name of God is Yehovah, and His son, our Messiah, is named Yeshua. Therefore, as you read our posts we will use the Hebrew names of God and our Messiah.
