Day 27 Awareness of the Holy Spirit(30 Day Prayer Challenge for the Children)
Biblical Living . Parenting . Prayer Challenge . Prayer Challenge for the ChildrenAs I said in the introduction, this challenge is an opportunity to spend the next thirty days being intentional about praying for a child or children.
I hope you had time to decide and write down the name or names of the child/children you will be praying for the next 30 days. If not take the time and do that now. Also, I would encourage you to use a prayer book/journal and write out your prayer each day. This just really allows to really think and ponder on the words, and gives you something to look back at as God answers these prayers. Reuse the prayers and add new notes as you continue to pray for the children in your life.
No matter how you choose to use this prayer guide, the most important thing is to be intentional. Don’t just make it a habit or chore that you check off your to do list each day. Make time and take time to really pray for the child/children, and ask God to show you ways to bless them.
Each day I will post the topic and scripture, and write out my prayer for you to use as a guide, as you go to the Father in prayer. No matter whom God lays on your heart to pray for that is exactly who you should be praying for.
May Yehovah God bless us as we seek to bless Him and His children.
Amen
Day 27 – Pray that your children would know and recognize the Holy Spirit in their lives daily.
John 10:27; Galatians 5:16; Ephesians 6:10-18
I love the Bible. I am so privileged to be able to spend lots and lots of time reading the Bible and studying it. I love it so much that it is what I teach my children all day long. Sometimes, I worry that they will begin to hate Bible time, because we do it so much. But the Bible isn’t just lessons, it is stories, and the voice of God. So, I want my children to know the voice of God, so we read, study, and learn His character, His Name. It is my greatest desire that all my children will know Yehovah in Spirit and Truth. That when they are sad, afraid, discouraged, happy, excited, and delighted that they recognize the presence of God.
I want them to discern the presence of the Spirit of God from the presence of evil spirits. So, today, my prayer is that thy put on the whole armor of God and walk daily in communion with His Spirit.
Father God,
Thank you for giving me parents that taught us to seek Your Spirit. Parents that did not neglect to teach us that there are evil spirits at work even in the church. I pray that my children will prepare daily to do battle in the spirit realm. Help them put on Your Armor every morning before they get up and out into the world.
Guard their minds with the helmet of salvation. Remind them that it is only because of Messiah they are saved, and that they can walk boldly in that truth. Let no deceiving spirits trick them into thinking they are undeserving of Your forgiveness and grace. Rather let them claim what they did not earn and glory in Your freedom.
May they fasten the belt of Truth firmly around their waste each day, that it will be a constant reminder of Your presence.
Put the Sword of the Spirit in their hand, so they can cut through all the fog of this world that clouds thinking and leads to confusion. Help them store up Your Word in their heart so they can grab a hold of in these dark days.
Let them also wear the breastplate of righteousness that protects their vital organs that produce life giving blood. As they acknowledge Your grace and mercy may it stir them ot obedience and right living. May they realize that the breastplate of righteousness is not heavy or burdensome, but it is vital to preserve their spiritual life.
Give them strength to raise up their shield of faith and stand strong in battle. They will face many trials and the enemy of their soul will fire many arrows, but if they truly believe and stand firm in Your love and promises they will not be overtaken.
Fit their feet with a clear understanding of the Gospel of peace. Give them Your spirit of compassion, grace, and love to bless others. May they be such a blessing that no one would desire to harm them.
Lastly, Father, teach my children to hear Your voice, to follow your Spirit, and to pray continuously.
May they always be aware of Your presence.
In Yeshua’s Name,
Amen

We are Bible believing, scripture only people. We love to learn about the Hebrew roots of our faith. We believe it is important to not add or subtract from the Divine Word of God. The compiled scriptures that agree with one another and have no contradiction is the 66 books of what is commonly referred to as the Christian Bible, or the Holy Bible.
These writings were originally written by men inspired by God. They were written in the language of the writers and readers of the original documents. Many of the original documents have been lost, but God’s Word is eternal and remains. Therefore, it is important to us to study, learn, and consider the culture, history, and language of the original writers of the scriptures.
In our studies we have learned that the true name of God is Yehovah, and His son, our Messiah, is named Yeshua. Therefore, as you read our posts we will use the Hebrew names of God and our Messiah.
