The Fruit of the Spirit Prayer Challenge Faithfulness (Day 8)
Prayer Challenge . Praying the Fruit of the SpiritYesterday we reviewed what goodness is in our seventh day of our prayer challenge. As a reminder, you can join our prayer group on Facebook.
Praying With Intention Facebook Group
I am so excited to be doing this prayer challenge. If you ever wonder how I prepare for these prayer challenges, let me share with you. I pray about what God wants me to be intentional in prayer about, and then when He reveals something. I research it and consider how to best go to Him in prayer. Then once I get an idea, I actually do a Bible Study/Prayer Time with my children each day. I take the thoughts and ideas from that time with my children and turn it into a blog post, and prayer.
Then once I get them written, I invite the Facebook group to pray through them intentionally day by day. So, I actually pray each prayer twice, once when I write them, and once when I go through them with the group. It has been a huge blessing to me to see Yehovah God work in my life and answer so many prayers.
Today, my children and I read Matthew 24-25, Hebrews 3 and 11, and Revelation 14. I hope you will take time to read and ponder these chapters too. They actually go together so well. I personally think the book of Hebrews is the Book of Faith. So, if you ever want to do a fun study, read through Hebrews and find all the ways it talks about and teaches faith.
We then took time to pray for God to fill us with His Faithfulness. We discussed how Faithfulness is the actions that come as a result of believing the Promises of God. A Faithful servant knows the Master, and loyally does the work assigned him even when the Master is away.
Verses the jumped out to us:
Matthew 25:21, 45
2 Thessalonians 3:3
Revelation 17:14
Faithfulness in the Bible usually is referring to God. Which tells us that it is a gift from God, and not something we can produce in ourselves. When we look at the stories of the Bible, specifically those mentioned in Hebrews 11, we see that God placed faith in His people. He came to them and gave them a vision, promise, a goal, purpose. He then often gives them the instructions or direction to go in obedience to reach, or obtain that promise, purpose. The visible act of faith is when we, God’s people, step out, without fear, and seek to work towards the Divine purpose. Yeshua in many of his parables says that faith is realized when we know the Master and do His Will. He goes on to say that as servants of God we are to care for the household of God. The Master increases our responsibility as we continue to be faithful in working towards the final goal.
We are to be faithful stewards in the household of faith. Serving the master each day, until He returns to take His place in the Kingdom. Today is the day.
Prayer:
Yehovah God,
We thank you for your faithfulness to our forefathers, and to us. We thank you for your Spirit that places that same faithfulness in us. Show us Your Promises, and Your Will for us today. Help us to be good and faithful servants each and every day, not giving up, or doubting. Use us to feed your household, and build Your Kingdom.
May Your Will be done in us today, and always.
In Yeshua’s Name,
Amen

We are Bible believing, scripture only people. We love to learn about the Hebrew roots of our faith. We believe it is important to not add or subtract from the Divine Word of God. The compiled scriptures that agree with one another and have no contradiction is the 66 books of what is commonly referred to as the Christian Bible, or the Holy Bible.
These writings were originally written by men inspired by God. They were written in the language of the writers and readers of the original documents. Many of the original documents have been lost, but God’s Word is eternal and remains. Therefore, it is important to us to study, learn, and consider the culture, history, and language of the original writers of the scriptures.
In our studies we have learned that the true name of God is Yehovah, and His son, our Messiah, is named Yeshua. Therefore, as you read our posts we will use the Hebrew names of God and our Messiah.
