Making teaching reading easy and simple (a review of with the Huddlestons)
Home SchoolingThis school year I got a few simple easy download programs to help with the reading basics. I have several beginning and just wanted some easy hands on materials. A new friend of mine, Michelle Huddleston, created some simple and attractive Hebrew notebooks, as well as, some fun preschool, alphabet, and sight word materials.
Since i am dyslexic and it is my area of training I like very basic and simple, black and white materials. These were perfect. I want to show you some of the materials.
Here is the basic Hebrew notebooks, I use them along with our other Hebrew books. This gives the little kids a page to work on and feel like they are apart of the lesson. It also gives them a foundation to build on in later years.

What I like about these notebooks is how clean and clear each page is. The images are large and simple. My four year old can use them, and my seventeen year old enjoys the practices as well. Very neat and practical pages.
Another product I got from this site is this super handy A B C book.

This is a great product for laminating and letting my little 4 and 6 year old practice their letters.
But I am super excited about the sight words pages she has. I use these for my 8 year old who is starting to read short readers, and with my older son who struggles with reading. These really simple and practical sheets have helped them add lots of sight words to their reading vocabulary.

These are not the only products I have from With The Huddlestons, but these are a few of my favorites. Today, Michelle launched a super exciting new products. This product has me so excited. As a dyslexia teacher, I think this is my favorite product so far. These are easy reading lessons. Super easy, super simple, and super encouraging.
When teaching a student who is struggling it can be so overwhelming when they seem frustrated and overwhelmed. IT is also so discouraging when you have a student that just doesn’t seem to want to learn at all. These new sample lessons are perfect examples or the best tool to use with reluctant and discouraged readers.

IF you are just getting started with homeschooling, if you are working with a student that needs some extra reading help, or if you just want a very practical tool for encouraging good reading skills these products from with the Huddlestons are just what you need. They are affordable and useful.
Check it out!

Things to know as you visit our site
We are Bible believing, scripture only people. We love to learn about the Hebrew roots of our faith. We believe it is important to not add or subtract from the Divine Word of God. The compiled scriptures that agree with one another and have no contradiction is the 66 books of what is commonly referred to as the Christian Bible, or the Holy Bible.
These writings were originally written by men inspired by God. They were written in the language of the writers and readers of the original documents. Many of the original documents have been lost, but God’s Word is eternal and remains. Therefore, it is important to us to study, learn, and consider the culture, history, and language of the original writers of the scriptures.
In our studies we have learned that the true name of God is Yehovah, and His son, our Messiah, is named Yeshua. Therefore, as you read our posts we will use the Hebrew names of God and our Messiah.
