As a mother of nine sons, I often think of the day they will leave me and become one with some other woman. A bond between a son and his mother is different than the one between a daughter and mother. My son’s instinctively protect me and care for me even when they are small. I don’t know if that is true for all mom’s and boys. But for me and my boys, we have a very close relationship even without talking. Now I love talking and visiting, and my boys are always good listeners, and when they do say something I listen too.
I truly have no idea where the wonderful women who will marry my boys will come from. I am not sure if there can possibly be any girl good enough for my boys. But seriously, I look forward to meeting the lady who catches my sons’ eye and heart.
But there are somethings I want that woman to know, so I decided to write her a letter:
Dear Future Daughter in Law,
I am so excited that my son has chosen you to share his life with. I have been praying for you since the day he was born. I pray that you love Yehovah God with all you are. I pray that you know the joy and blessing of walking close to Him. I pray that you are strong and humble in heart. I pray that you are prepared to be the perfect helper for my son. I pray that you can humbly follow where ever he is led. I pray that you and I will be close friends. I selfishly pray that you will live close by and come over often.
I want you to know that even though I am a mom of many children, I have room in my heart and life for you. I want you to know that even though I am loud, confident, and inquisitive, I am not judging you or condemning you. I am just curious and excited to be apart of your life. I want you to know that if you ask me for advice, I will gladly share it, and even if you don’t take it I will love and support you and my son. I want you to know that I am aware that a woman, like myself, can be intimidating to be around, but trust me, I have learned many things the hard way, and if I can share what I have learned with you and help you avoid the hard way, I am an open book. I want you to know that as long and you and my son seek after Truth with all your heart, I will be in your corner cheering you on, and if you lose your way, I will be there to pick you up and help you get back on the right path.
I don’t expect you to be perfect. I don’t expect you to be like me.
My greatest hope is that you will always be growing and learning each day, and that I can be a part of your journey.
Precious woman of God, I have prayed and prayed for you and I will always be here for you.
I can’t wait to meet you, and I pray you are safe in the arms of Yehovah today and everyday.
Your future mother in law

We are Bible believing, scripture only people. We love to learn about the Hebrew roots of our faith. We believe it is important to not add or subtract from the Divine Word of God. The compiled scriptures that agree with one another and have no contradiction is the 66 books of what is commonly referred to as the Christian Bible, or the Holy Bible.
These writings were originally written by men inspired by God. They were written in the language of the writers and readers of the original documents. Many of the original documents have been lost, but God’s Word is eternal and remains. Therefore, it is important to us to study, learn, and consider the culture, history, and language of the original writers of the scriptures.
In our studies we have learned that the true name of God is Yehovah, and His son, our Messiah, is named Yeshua. Therefore, as you read our posts we will use the Hebrew names of God and our Messiah.
