Day 6 Love that Overcomes 1 John 4 (40 Prayers for my husband)
40 days of Prayers for my Husband . Biblical MarriageI truly believe that the only way to know love is to know God. We must know who our Creator and Redeemer is before we can know who we are. It is when we realize who He is that we realize what love is. So, my prayer today is that my husband know God, and therefore, find his identity in Him alone.
Yehovah, My Creator and Redeemer,
I come to you this morning and ask that you give my husband a deep desire to know you. Give him a hunger and thirst for your Word, which reveals who you are. Through your Spirit, show Jeremy what true love is. I know that he believes in your Son, Yeshua, as his Savior and Redeemer. I know that he believes and identifies as a child of God. I thank you that you have revealed to him that if he truly loves you then he will walk in your Ways and obey your commands.
Your Word says that to obey your commands is not a burden. So, I ask that you keep that promise and make your commands light and easy to obey. Help Jeremy to be an overcomer. The world is always pressing in, but through Yeshua, help Jeremy have victory in overcoming the world through Yeshua.
Yehovah fill Jeremy with your love. Let it be that where ever he goes, whatever he does, people will see Your love in his actions and deeds. Lord, I ask that you would help me be true love to him. Help me abide so close to You that my attitude and actions are loving and kind.
Make it our deepest desire to be a living testimony and confession of Your love. We don’t want to be known as those weird religious people, we want to be known as those people that love others in the Name and Power of Yeshua, our Messiah and King.
Father, help us make no excuses, but only improvement each day as we seek to be more like Your Son, who loved beyond our imagination. Let us be patient, kind, and selfless even unto death if necessary.
In Yeshua, I pray,
Amen

We are Bible believing, scripture only people. We love to learn about the Hebrew roots of our faith. We believe it is important to not add or subtract from the Divine Word of God. The compiled scriptures that agree with one another and have no contradiction is the 66 books of what is commonly referred to as the Christian Bible, or the Holy Bible.
These writings were originally written by men inspired by God. They were written in the language of the writers and readers of the original documents. Many of the original documents have been lost, but God’s Word is eternal and remains. Therefore, it is important to us to study, learn, and consider the culture, history, and language of the original writers of the scriptures.
In our studies we have learned that the true name of God is Yehovah, and His son, our Messiah, is named Yeshua. Therefore, as you read our posts we will use the Hebrew names of God and our Messiah.
