Day 12 For Our Intimacy Song of Solomon (40 Prayers for My Husband)
40 days of Prayers for my Husband . Biblical MarriageMy husband and I have been married almost 30 years. We have been blessed to enjoy a healthy intimacy in our marriage. That isn’t to say that we have never struggled, but rather we have learned and grown in our relationship over the years to understand one another, and to communicate with each other our needs and desires.
In the early years of marriage there were times when we struggled to communicate well. But, as we, grew and matured, so did our marriage. I would encourage young couples to become comfortable talking about their physical needs, likes, dislikes, and to respect each other enough to be honest in the bedroom, and to pray about your spouses needs and health often.
Today, Abba,
I come to you to ask that you continue to bless Jeremy and I with a healthy intimacy in our marriage. Help us in this season of life to continue to speak plainly to each other, and to honor one another. Lord, you know I am not as physical as most people, so help me to remember to touch my husband, and to hold his hand, and hug him as he needs these physical touches. Give us opportunities for time alone.
Lord, help us to keep our minds and hearts pure, and let us not be distracted by the sexuality, sensuality of the world. Keep us from accepting the world’s ideas of intimacy and let us love each other with a clear conscious.
Thank you for the beauty and gift of marriage and the marriage bed. May we never defile it.
In Yeshua’s Name I pray,
Amen

We are Bible believing, scripture only people. We love to learn about the Hebrew roots of our faith. We believe it is important to not add or subtract from the Divine Word of God. The compiled scriptures that agree with one another and have no contradiction is the 66 books of what is commonly referred to as the Christian Bible, or the Holy Bible.
These writings were originally written by men inspired by God. They were written in the language of the writers and readers of the original documents. Many of the original documents have been lost, but God’s Word is eternal and remains. Therefore, it is important to us to study, learn, and consider the culture, history, and language of the original writers of the scriptures.
In our studies we have learned that the true name of God is Yehovah, and His son, our Messiah, is named Yeshua. Therefore, as you read our posts we will use the Hebrew names of God and our Messiah.
