One of my favorite stories in the Bible is David and Goliath. David told Saul that he would fight Goliath, but Saul told him that he wasn’t experienced enough and that he was too young. But David told Saul the experience he had. Saul told him he could fight Goliath and he gave David garment, armor, and a bronze helmet. But David did not take them, because he didn’t test them. He took a stick , his shepherd’s bag, his sling and 5 smooth stones from the brook.
When he went out to Goliath, Goliath mocked him. When Goliath came near David, David ran to Goliath, put a stone in his sling and slung it at Goliath. The stone struck him on the forehead and he fell on his face on the ground. I bet the ground shook. The Philistines fled when they saw that their champion was dead. Before they did, David cuff off Goliath’s head. Then the Israelites took all the Philistines things and David put Goliath’s weapons in his tent. David then appeared to Saul with Goliath’s head in his hand. It sounds gross……. hehehe.
I know I just retold the story, I like it a lot! It reminds me that even though I am young, God can use me in a big and amazing ways. None of my problems are to big or small for God, whatever obstacle that comes in my way, big or small, God can help me through it. I need to trust in God. He will always be there for me. =)

Things to know as you visit our site
We are Bible believing, scripture only people. We love to learn about the Hebrew roots of our faith. We believe it is important to not add or subtract from the Divine Word of God. The compiled scriptures that agree with one another and have no contradiction is the 66 books of what is commonly referred to as the Christian Bible, or the Holy Bible.
These writings were originally written by men inspired by God. They were written in the language of the writers and readers of the original documents. Many of the original documents have been lost, but God’s Word is eternal and remains. Therefore, it is important to us to study, learn, and consider the culture, history, and language of the original writers of the scriptures.
In our studies we have learned that the true name of God is Yehovah, and His son, our Messiah, is named Yeshua. Therefore, as you read our posts we will use the Hebrew names of God and our Messiah.
