Today, as I read the prayer in the book, I couldn’t help but think of Isaiah chapter 40.  This is one of my favorite chapters in Isaiah.  It is written to Israel, but I love applying these Words to prayer.  So, I have pasted this passage below. Comfort, comfort my people,     says your God. Speak tenderly to

  Abba Father,  Today, I come to you to ask that you strengthen my husband to fight the battle that is all around us. Make him strong in Your mighty power, Oh, Yehovah.  Help him to put on the full armor, daily, so that he can take a stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle

Today, I am having a rough day.  It is no ones fault, and I am just struggling to pray for anything, because I am having a hard day emotionally and physically.  I often feel in times like these that I give the worst of myself to God, my spouse, and my children.  I also get

Abba, I ask that today, will be a restful and peaceful day for my husband.  That he will reflect and remember that You, Alone, are Creator and Redeemer.  May he always know the gift and blessing of keeping Your Sabbath Day Holy. Amen

Yehovah God, Creator and Redeemer of my soul, I praise you today.  Thank you for another day to worship you, to grow in faith and wisdom.  Lord, I ask that you remind me daily that I am your child, I am created in Your image, and You have a purpose for my life.  Thank you

Abba Father, Thank you for another day to try, to serve, to live for You.  I ask that you be with me help me be kind, loving, and help my inner most thoughts be holy, honorable, and kind.  I ask that you continue to mold me and make me into the person You created me
