Day 7 Be Strong and Courageous (30 Day Prayer Challenge for the Children)
Biblical Living . Parenting . Prayer Challenge . Prayer Challenge for the ChildrenAs I said in the introduction, this challenge is an opportunity to spend the next thirty days being intentional about praying for a child or children.
I hope you had time to decide and write down the name or names of the child/children you will be praying for the next 30 days. If not take the time and do that now. Also, I would encourage you to use a prayer book/journal and write out your prayer each day. This just really allows to really think and ponder on the words, and gives you something to look back at as God answers these prayers. Reuse the prayers and add new notes as you continue to pray for the children in your life.
No matter how you choose to use this prayer guide, the most important thing is to be intentional. Don’t just make it a habit or chore that you check off your to do list each day. Make time and take time to really pray for the child/children, and ask God to show you ways to bless them.
Each day I will post the topic and scripture, and write out my prayer for you to use as a guide, as you go to the Father in prayer. No matter whom God lays on your heart to pray for that is exactly who you should be praying for.
May Yehovah God bless us as we seek to bless Him and His children.
Amen
Day 7 – Pray that your children would be strong and courageous.
Joshua 1:9; Deuteronomy 31:6; Ephesians 6:10-18
When I was pregnant with my eighth son (at that time), Yehovah gave us the name Joshua James for him. He placed the verse Joshua 1:9 on my hearts. I still pray this over him and my other children.
Yehovah God, Strong and Mighty,
Give my children your strength and courage. Let them not be afraid of the things of this world. May they always know your presence, and never be discouraged by their circumstances. As the trials of life come upon them may they stand firm in your truths.
Help me set an example of faith when trials and temptations come my way. Let my children see me go to you for strength and courage. When I am afraid help me call my children to my side and show them I place my faith in you alone.
When the storms of life overcome us, let us remember that even in the storm Your in control, and we can hold firm to You and have peace.
In Yeshua our peace and hope I pray.
Amen
I hope this blog series is a blessing to you and the children in your life. If you would like to join our prayer group on Facebook here is the link.

We are Bible believing, scripture only people. We love to learn about the Hebrew roots of our faith. We believe it is important to not add or subtract from the Divine Word of God. The compiled scriptures that agree with one another and have no contradiction is the 66 books of what is commonly referred to as the Christian Bible, or the Holy Bible.
These writings were originally written by men inspired by God. They were written in the language of the writers and readers of the original documents. Many of the original documents have been lost, but God’s Word is eternal and remains. Therefore, it is important to us to study, learn, and consider the culture, history, and language of the original writers of the scriptures.
In our studies we have learned that the true name of God is Yehovah, and His son, our Messiah, is named Yeshua. Therefore, as you read our posts we will use the Hebrew names of God and our Messiah.
