30 Day Prayer Challenge for the Children (intro)
Biblical Living . Parenting . Prayer Challenge . Prayer Challenge for the ChildrenChildren are a gift and blessing from God. Parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, teachers, pastors, mentors, and family friends are all so important in a child’s life. No matter how you are related to a child, you have the ability to bless that child. One of the best ways to bless a child is to pray for them.
This challenge is an opportunity to spend the next thirty days being intentional about praying for a child or children. As a mom of fifteen, I must be intentional to spend quality time with my children, and to be ever mindful of the time I pray for them. In life we can get so busy doing the good things that God calls us to do, and often we forget to connect with him through purposeful prayer.
This challenge is an opportunity for you to be intentional to connect to God on the behalf of a child in your life. Maybe, you are like me and have a lot of children in your life, and you find it challenging to know just how to intimately take each and every child in your life before our Holy Father. Whether you are an aunt, teacher, or grandparent with lots and lots of children in your life, I think you will find this prayer challenge helpful and encouraging.
There are a few ways you could us this challenge.
- Choose one child and pray over the topic each day for that one child only, then repeat the challenge for another child, you would end up praying for 12 children in one years time.
- Make a list of all the children you want to pray for during this challenge and after reading the daily topic and scripture, read each name on your list and pray over them all.
- Pray for a different child each day as the Father leads you.
No matter how you choose to use this prayer guide, the most important thing is to be intentional. Don’t just make it a habit or chore that you check off your to do list each day. Make time and take time to really pray for the child/children, and ask God to show you ways to bless them.
Each day I will post the topic and scripture, and write out my prayer for you to use as a guide, as you go to the Father in prayer. It doesn’t matter if your child is in the womb, or a hope in your future, if she is 5 or 15, or if the child you are praying for is actually an adult now, but will always be your child. No matter whom God lays on your heart to pray for that is exactly who you should be praying for.
May Yehovah God bless us as we seek to bless Him and His children.
Amen

We are Bible believing, scripture only people. We love to learn about the Hebrew roots of our faith. We believe it is important to not add or subtract from the Divine Word of God. The compiled scriptures that agree with one another and have no contradiction is the 66 books of what is commonly referred to as the Christian Bible, or the Holy Bible.
These writings were originally written by men inspired by God. They were written in the language of the writers and readers of the original documents. Many of the original documents have been lost, but God’s Word is eternal and remains. Therefore, it is important to us to study, learn, and consider the culture, history, and language of the original writers of the scriptures.
In our studies we have learned that the true name of God is Yehovah, and His son, our Messiah, is named Yeshua. Therefore, as you read our posts we will use the Hebrew names of God and our Messiah.
