What a great day to ask for rest and peace for my husband. As we prepare our house and meals for sabbath, I love to take this day to prepare my heart and mind for a day of rest. I ask that you would help Jeremy to value your Sabbath day and to always prepare to keep it. As he takes the seventh day to remember You, His Creator and Redeemer, help him to let go of all his daily responsibilities and place all his hope and trust in You.
This world is full of troubles. I pray that You will keep Jeremy from being overtaken by the things of this world. Give him comfort in times of trouble. Fill him with the strength that comes from the joy of knowing You are God.
