Day 23 Mighty Warrior (40 Prayers for my Husband)

40 days of Prayers for my Husband . Biblical Marriage

Abba Father,

Today, I come to you to ask that you strengthen my husband to fight the battle that is all around us.

Make him strong in Your mighty power, Oh, Yehovah. Help him to put on the full armor, daily, so that he can take a stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. So give Jeremy a desire to put on the full armor for battle, so that when the day of evil comes, he may be able to stand his ground, and to do everything necessary to fight for Truth. Hold him up that he might not fall. Give him men like Moses had in Aaron and Hur, that will support him to stand til the battle is won. Give him the desire to wear the belt of truth buckled around his waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place over his mind, and with his feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to all this, let him take up the shield of faith, with which he can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Strengthen and teach him to take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Give him the ability to count it all joy when he falls into various trials, knowing that the testing of his faith produces patience, and let patience have its perfect work, that he may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. Father, I ask that you give him wisdom, and I know you will because your Word says, you give to all liberally and without reproach, who ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. So, I stand believing and without doubt that you will do as Your Word promises. I ask also that you give Jeremy a desire to ask for all that you have for him and that he would not be a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways, but that he would stand firm on Your Word also.

^{Give us} patience until the coming of Your Son. We see how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, waiting patiently for it until it receives the early and latter rain. We will learn to be patient also. Establish our hearts, for the coming of the Lord and King is at hand.

Help Jeremy and I, both not grumble against one another, or against our fellow believers. For you alone are the Judge standing at the door! The prophets, who spoke in the name of Yehovah, gave us an example of suffering and patience. Indeed we count them blessed who endure. We have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by You, oh, Yah—that You are very compassionate and merciful. Let us never forget.

Father, make Jeremy always a man of his word, who speaks clearly and honestly in all things. Do not let him agree to or proclaim anything , either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let his “Yes” be “Yes,” and his “No,” “No,” so that he does not fall into judgment.

Give him self-controlled and an alertness in the physical and spiritual realm. Our enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Help us resist him, standing firm in the faith, because we know that our brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

Father you called us to Your eternal glory in Messiah, so help us rejoice in any suffering here in this temporary place, knowing that You will restore us and make us strong, firm and steadfast.

We know that this battle must be fought, but we also know that through it You will Be Glorified. So, make us mighty Warriors.

Amen
