When I get an idea to write about something, and blog it is for me that I write. I like blogging to remember my thoughts, and to help me process and think through things. I find most writers and speakers first audience is themselves. If you attend church and hear a message/sermon, the best teachings come from the teacher who is still teachable, still learning himself, and is often speaking first to himself. At least, I have found this to be true in my experience.
I blog to learn, to process what I am learning, and to remember what I have learned.
I also blog for my children. When I think of who I want to read my posts, it is my kids. I have a lot of children, and some of them are now grown and starting their own families. Some are still very little. I get these great ideas, and lessons that I want to share with all of them, and yet I can only share it with the ones that are available at the moment. I love teaching my children, discussing scripture, and life with my children. I do that daily with the ones that are home and still schooling at home. But for those that had to go to work, or don’t live at home, I hate that we miss out on these great discussions. So blogging is a way for me to share some of these special stories, ideas, and life lessons with my own children.
I realize other people do read my blog posts, and I hope they are blessed by them. I also realize that I am writing these posts in the “public” and anyone can read them. I do my best to be considerate of who might read my posts, but the reality is I don’t write for the approval of man.
I write for Yehovah God and His Kingdom.
I want to use this platform to honor Him, and to be a small part of His Kingdom and bringing glory to His Name.
If you are reading my blog, I hope and pray it is a blessing to you. But more than anything I want it to be a blessing to my God and Savior. May His name forever be praised and honored.
Shalom

Things to know as you visit our site
We are Bible believing, scripture only people. We love to learn about the Hebrew roots of our faith. We believe it is important to not add or subtract from the Divine Word of God. The compiled scriptures that agree with one another and have no contradiction is the 66 books of what is commonly referred to as the Christian Bible, or the Holy Bible.
These writings were originally written by men inspired by God. They were written in the language of the writers and readers of the original documents. Many of the original documents have been lost, but God’s Word is eternal and remains. Therefore, it is important to us to study, learn, and consider the culture, history, and language of the original writers of the scriptures.
In our studies we have learned that the true name of God is Yehovah, and His son, our Messiah, is named Yeshua. Therefore, as you read our posts we will use the Hebrew names of God and our Messiah.
