So, I am putting these two days together, because I am a little behind on posting.
Yesterday was preparation day at our house. This means we prepare our hearts and mind and our home for a day of rest in YHVH. To start our preparation day, we always read a passage in scripture.
So yesterday morning we read.
1 Peter as our preparation passage.
We also read through the entire Torah portion in a kids version of the Bible on preparation day.
Genesis 28:10-32:2 (then on Friday night we usually listen to dad read the entire portion again to us and discuss it with him) But this week we didn’t cause dad is sick with a bad cold.
On Sabbath evening, that is Friday night after sundown, I enjoy reading random passages in my Bible in my bedroom by myself. I am sorry, but i didn’t write them down for you all.
This morning, I woke up before everyone else and enjoyed reading in my Bible to myself again. I should have wrote down the passages, but I forgot. I remember reading Jeremiah 10 and 17. Oh, I also read Numbers 10. I read John 10 as well. There were a few others, but I forget now.
But as you can see on Sabbath, I just enjoy reading all over my Bible.
Then when we went ot fellowship today, we read the Torah portion again. Genesis 28 and 29. We also read all over our Bibles as the teacher took us to relevant passages. I am so sorry, I did not think to write them all down.
I promise next Sabbath I will be more aware and share with you all the passages I read.
