In our family the core of our schooling is called copy work. But if you ask a hundred teachers what copy work is, you will get a hundred different answers. In our house copy work, is the name of the method of learning that includes detailed copying of the Torah (scriptures). Today, Lydia completed here
Today is Preparation Day at our house (that is, it is Friday). We call it preparation day because it is the day we prepare our heart and home for a Sabbath rest. At Sundown, it will be Sabbath, and until the next sundown we will take a day to rest and reflect on our
I have been thinking a lot about my friends and family. Especially the ones who seem to struggle day in and day out with no long term peace. Maybe like them, you struggle with a close relationship with God. Maybe you pray and read your Bible, but just aren’t sure if it makes that much
In my last post , Shalom of Yeshua, I wrote about how in the last couple years, I have come to a place of peace that I never knew before. A friend who has known me many years, recently asked were this deep peace came from. So, I have been pondering her question and the

We are Bible believing, scripture only people. We love to learn about the Hebrew roots of our faith. We believe it is important to not add or subtract from the Divine Word of God. The compiled scriptures that agree with one another and have no contradiction is the 66 books of what is commonly referred to as the Christian Bible, or the Holy Bible.
These writings were originally written by men inspired by God. They were written in the language of the writers and readers of the original documents. Many of the original documents have been lost, but God’s Word is eternal and remains. Therefore, it is important to us to study, learn, and consider the culture, history, and language of the original writers of the scriptures.
In our studies we have learned that the true name of God is Yehovah, and His son, our Messiah, is named Yeshua. Therefore, as you read our posts we will use the Hebrew names of God and our Messiah.
