Day 30 Their Future (30 Day Prayer Challenge for the Children)

As I said in the introduction, this challenge is an opportunity to spend the next thirty days being intentional about praying for a child or children.
I hope you had time to decide and write down the name or names of the child/children you will be praying for the next 30 days.  If not take the time and do that now.  Also, I would encourage you to use a prayer book/journal and write out your prayer each day.  This just really allows to really think and ponder on the words, and gives you something to look back at as God answers these prayers.  Reuse the prayers and add new notes as you continue to pray for the children in your life.
No matter how you choose to use this prayer guide, the most important thing is to be intentional.  Don’t just make it a habit or chore that you check off your to do list each day.  Make time and take time to really pray for the child/children, and ask God to show you ways to bless them.
Each day I will post the topic and scripture, and write out my prayer for you to use as a guide, as you go to the Father in prayer.  No matter whom God lays on your heart to pray for that is exactly who you should be praying for.
May Yehovah God bless us as we seek to bless Him and His children.
Amen

Day 30 – Pray for the future of your children.

 Jeremiah 29:11; Ephesians 3:20-21; Matthew 19:26; Philippians 3:12-14

I have to admit this is a prayer I am always praying over my children.  As a homeschooling mom, I hope that I prepare them for the work they will do in the future.  As I watch the world change, and times get harder, I hope that my children can provide for their families.

So, today, I don’t know the future, but I place my children in Yehovah’s hands.

Father,

Your Word says that you prepare and equip Your people for the work you have for them to do.  I place my trust in that promise.  I do not know what tomorrow will bring, but I ask that You will guide my children’s steps.  Prepare the way for them.  Open doors of opportunity.  Pour out Your favor on them, as You have all these years for us.

Help them work hard, study hard, and keep their eyes on the important things of life.  Give them clear guidance in employment, parenting, marriage, and ministry.

Keep them healthy and strong, and give them friends that help them grow in wisdom and discernment.

Keep them close and never let go of them even when they may lose their way.  A

Abba, I thank you for this opportunity these past 30 days to pray over my children.

Amen
