The days we live in are filled with lies and delusions, it often feels like the darkness is closing in all around us. But we know that You have made us sons of light and sons of the day. Help us be alert and sober. But let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For You, God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Yeshua Messiah, who died for us, that whether we live or die, we should live together with Him.
Lord, make us a comfort to each other and let us edify one another.
Abba, I ask that you would help Jeremy and I to recognize those who work among you, and those you have placed over us in the Lord to admonish us, and to esteem us very highly in love. Give us peace in our home and in our community.
If there is need help us to warn those who are unruly, comfort the fainthearted, uphold the weak, and patience with all. Stop us if we ever pursue evil for evil to anyone, but give us always a desire to pursue what is good both for ourselves and for all.
Le us rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is Your will in Messiah Yeshua for us.
Keep us from quenching Your Spirit. Give us eyes to see and ears to hear Your true prophets. May we be diligent to test all things; and hold fast to what is good. Keep us from every form of evil.
God of peace sanctify us completely; and may our whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Yeshua Messiah. You, O, God, arefaithful, may Your will be done.
In the Gracious Name of our Lord Yeshua Messiah. Amen.
We are Bible believing, scripture only people. We love to learn about the Hebrew roots of our faith. We believe it is important to not add or subtract from the Divine Word of God. The compiled scriptures that agree with one another and have no contradiction is the 66 books of what is commonly referred to as the Christian Bible, or the Holy Bible.
These writings were originally written by men inspired by God. They were written in the language of the writers and readers of the original documents. Many of the original documents have been lost, but God’s Word is eternal and remains. Therefore, it is important to us to study, learn, and consider the culture, history, and language of the original writers of the scriptures.
In our studies we have learned that the true name of God is Yehovah, and His son, our Messiah, is named Yeshua. Therefore, as you read our posts we will use the Hebrew names of God and our Messiah.
We would love to send you an email each time we have a new post. Sometimes we post a lot, but we're a busy family, so sometimes there are a few weeks between posts. Sign up today and never miss another post!
