Day 31 Stewards of our Bodies (40 Prayers for my Husband)
40 days of Prayers for my Husband . Biblical MarriageYehovah is a God of order and discipline. Recently, my daughters have been sharing their health goals with me. I love that they share their lives, thoughts, ideas, struggles, and joys with me. It is a constant goal of mine to be a good steward of the earthly body that my Creator gave me. I want to care for my physical body so that I can use it to be productive and a blessing to others. So again, as I pray for my husband, I find myself praying for myself also.
Father God,
You Created me in Your Image. You formed me in my mother’s Womb. You know every hair on my head, and You designed me for You perfect will. I admit I am not always making the best use of this body that you gave me. But, continue to help me make wise choices for myself and my family.
Lord, I ask that you would help both Jeremy and I be good stewards of the physical bodies you have given us. Using them to build up the Kingdom. Let us always remember that we are Your Living Testimony, our bodies the temple of Your Spirit. You are our Master and we are to be wise stewards of all that You have entrusted us with. Keep us from worldly passions, lust, and sin that corrupt the body. Instead, help us always remember that You Created in us a new passion and new desires for Holy and Pure things.
Let us encourage and support each other in love. Let us motive each other to not be lazy, gluttonous, or addicted to anything. May we motive and encourage each other by doing that which You call us to each day. Help us work hard six days a week to physically do the tasks You have for us to do each day. And give us our seventh day rest, a rest that renews and refreshes us to keep doing Your Kingdom Work. Keep us from discouragement, and help us to be strong and courageous in all our labor.
Amen

We are Bible believing, scripture only people. We love to learn about the Hebrew roots of our faith. We believe it is important to not add or subtract from the Divine Word of God. The compiled scriptures that agree with one another and have no contradiction is the 66 books of what is commonly referred to as the Christian Bible, or the Holy Bible.
These writings were originally written by men inspired by God. They were written in the language of the writers and readers of the original documents. Many of the original documents have been lost, but God’s Word is eternal and remains. Therefore, it is important to us to study, learn, and consider the culture, history, and language of the original writers of the scriptures.
In our studies we have learned that the true name of God is Yehovah, and His son, our Messiah, is named Yeshua. Therefore, as you read our posts we will use the Hebrew names of God and our Messiah.
