Ignorance is bliss, or is it?
Katie . Spiritual Warfare . Torah/BibleI have heard so many people say, “Ignorance is bliss.” Another saying, “What I don’t know won’t kill me,” is something I have been told, as well. Whenever someone says, these, or similair things to me, I am usually blindsided. I can’t imagine choosing to remain in ignorance. For me, I teach my children there Read More
Persecution vs. Prosecution (where is the line as a believer?)
KatieAbout six years ago, my husband and I heard a very good teaching on Matthew 5:10-12 “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 11 Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. 12 Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, Read More
The other day I stopped over at my parents. I love visiting with my parents, they are wise and humble. As we visited, we began talking about how most people of the world have a understanding of who God is and that Jesus died on the cross. As we discussed my mom said, “the difference Read More
Most of my friends know that our family reads through the Bible yearly. We began doing this nine years ago. We have found that reading through the Bible from cover to cover, or chronologically helps us really understand who Yehovah God is and who we are in relationship to Him. This year we are doing Read More
This past weekend, my husband and I had the honor of celebrating the life of one of his cousin’s sons. This young man’s life was only 20 years long this side of eternity. He was one of those really special kids. He made you feel like the most important person in the room, no matter Read More

We are Bible believing, scripture only people. We love to learn about the Hebrew roots of our faith. We believe it is important to not add or subtract from the Divine Word of God. The compiled scriptures that agree with one another and have no contradiction is the 66 books of what is commonly referred to as the Christian Bible, or the Holy Bible.
These writings were originally written by men inspired by God. They were written in the language of the writers and readers of the original documents. Many of the original documents have been lost, but God’s Word is eternal and remains. Therefore, it is important to us to study, learn, and consider the culture, history, and language of the original writers of the scriptures.
In our studies we have learned that the true name of God is Yehovah, and His son, our Messiah, is named Yeshua. Therefore, as you read our posts we will use the Hebrew names of God and our Messiah.
